Start a ConversationHelping local leaders, riders, and community partners develop a long-term vision for outdoor recreation by leading the development of a Walk & Bike Master Plan, identifying trail opportunities, and creating connected pathways that encourage cycling, walking, and active transportation throughout the community.
Approximately 8.5 miles of natural surface trails designed for beginner and intermediate riders. The system includes dedicated flow lines, natural surface flowing singletrack, and connects multiple loop options — making it one of Western Kentucky's best places to begin mountain biking.
Over 12 miles of natural surface mountain bike trails located within Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park. Riders experience wooded terrain, creek crossings, rolling climbs, and scenic forest views. The trail system offers an authentic Kentucky mountain biking experience suitable for families, recreational riders, traditional mountain bikes, and e-bikes where permitted.
Approximately 8 miles of mountain bike trails featuring beginner and intermediate riding with flowing terrain, berms, optional jumps, and multiple loop combinations. A destination trail system serving riders throughout Western Kentucky.
Supporting Dawson Springs as it strengthens its identity as a Kentucky Trail Town by improving rider navigation, community connections, and access between downtown and Pennyrile Forest.
